Mission

To Research, Develop and Present the most Qualitative Leadership and Management Education adapted to our specific needs as a nation at an affordable fee.

Incorporation

The Institute was formally inaugurated in 1993 at the Conference Center of Petroleum Training Center (PTI) Effurun near Warri in Delta State. As an organization founded in public interest, it was incorporated under the C.A.M Decree of 1990 with registration number RC: 270345.

Facilitation

Much of the research activities and programmes facilitation are carried out through a network of individual researchers, practitioners and experts within and outside Nigeria who in most cases are Professional Fellows of the Institute.

Sponsorship

The Institute is financed from membership fees, participation fees from training programmes, and freewill donations from individuals and corporate bodies who over the years have been impressed by the quality of our research work and programme presentations across the country.

Qualification

Individuals who currently occupy supervisory, managerial or leadership positions in the public or private sector, academia or armed forces are admitted to membership of the Institute.

Possession of a University degree, equivalent professional qualification, and membership of other professional bodies is an advantage.

Honorary Awards

Nominees for Honorary Awards are individuals and organizations who in the opinion of the Administrative committee have distinguished themselves theoretically and or experientially in diverse professional or occupational fields.

Contributions in professional areas involving legislative, political and legal patterns of service delivery are also recognized and appreciated via these awards.

Some recipients are recognized and honoured for their creative, powerful, influential and diverse contributions to business, industrial development, employment generation and excellent leadership.

The primary objective in each category is to encourage professionalism, promote excellence and discourage complacency.
